Three Elements, Vassily Kandinsky
If you’re here, something may feel hard to carry alone
People come to therapy for many different reasons. You don’t need to fit a label perfectly for your experience to matter.
You might be dealing with:
Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally flooded
Depression, numbness, or loss of motivation
Trauma that continues to affect how you feel day to day, sometimes showing up in unexpected ways or only becoming clear over time
Confusing or intense inner experiences that are hard to make sense of alone
Fear, paranoia, or feeling consumed or unsafe in your own thoughts
Hearing voices, experiences of psychosis, or experiencing unusual perceptions
Restlessness, agitation, or feeling “on edge” in your body
Difficult experiences with past treatment, including treatment that left you feeling worse, or where you were harmed, dismissed, or not listened to
Whatever you’re experiencing, we can start there, at a steady, manageable pace.
How therapy can help
People often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to make sense of what they’re going through.
Over time, many find that things become more manageable. They feel more grounded in daily life, better able to steady themselves when things feel intense, and can relate to difficult thoughts or experiences without being pulled under by them.
Many also find they engage more fully in their lives again, whether that means work, school, relationships, or simply feeling more present in day-to-day moments.
You don’t need to explain everything perfectly to begin.
Areas of focus
I work with people experiencing:
Depression, anxiety, or feeling emotionally overwhelmed
Trauma and difficult experiences that continue to affect daily life
Confusing or distressing perceptual experiences
Hearing voices or other experiences sometimes described as psychosis
Paranoia, fear, or feeling unsafe in your own thoughts
Restlessness or strong physical agitation (including akathisia)
Ways we can work together
Telephone, virtual, in-person, and walk and talk
A grounded, conversational space to explore what you’re going through, make sense of it, and reduce emotional suffering over time.
Dance/Movement Therapy
A body-centered approach that helps process emotions through movement, especially when words feel limiting or overwhelming.
Walking Therapy
Sessions conducted outdoors to support regulation, reduce anxiety, and bring movement into the therapeutic process.
